As a specialist in Sports Medicine, Dr. Murrell has specific expertise in the surgery of the shoulder, knee, elbow and ankle and arthroplasty of the shoulder and the elbow.

Experience ranges from taking care of Olympic and professional athletes as well as the weekend warrior. Dr. Murrell has served as team physician for rugby, football, volleyball, basketball and swim teams from youth to the professional level.

An active lecturer on sports injuries and injury prevention, he has presented many talks internationally on such topics as ACL injury prevention, shoulder dislocation and injuries of the elbow, wrist, hip and ankle, as well as current concepts in meniscus injury and rotator cuff tear treatment.
