Dr. Ashok Kumar has taught and trained numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, senior residents, arthroplasty fellows and observers during last 6 1/2 years after his MS Orthopaedics (from AIIMS) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, India. He has been actively involved in the bone banking at AIIMS, Delhi and has a rich experience of using fresh frozen structural and morcellized allograft in complex primary & revision arthroplasty and in major Orthopaedic Oncological and posttraumatic reconstructions.
He has presented his work at various regional, national and international Orthopaedic Conferences. Recently he presented his work on resection & reconstruction of giant cell tumor of distal end of radius in the annual conference of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon (AAOS) in San Diego in Feb 2011 and role of anticoagulant in joint replacements, results of large diameter head in Indian patients, his new technique of forequarter amputation, and ossifying lipoma in annual conference of SICOT/SIROT at Gothenberg, Sweden (Sep 2010). |
