Operating Room
Nurse
Job Description: The candidate should be a registered nurse, (or certified Physician
Assistant) educated to degree level, with at least five years orthopedic OR experience
to join our OR team. Experience with pediatric orthopaedics, spine and joint replacement
surgeries is a must. The suitable candidate needs to be a highly motivated and organized
individual. He/she needs to be able to apply current international standards to
all aspects of perioperative care. During surgery you will act as the first assistant
to our surgeons. You will be responsible for planning and arranging all items required
for booked surgeries including instruments and implants as well as maintaining the
DBAJ inventory. You will also be responsible for billing items used in surgery as
well as assisting the finance department in regular inventory audits.
A valid UAE driving license and own car would be a distinct advantage.
